Italian Radio Society is a vintage Italian band and live music project, performing classic Italian songs and bringing the timeless atmosphere of la dolce vita.
Founded in 2024 by Elisa Cipro together with a group of Italian musicians living in London, the project quickly built a strong following thanks to its unique style and energy.

Italian Radio Society has performed at major food and music festivals across the UK and sold out multiple shows in prestigious London music venues.
They are a popular choice for members’ clubs, luxury weddings, and international events, renowned for their dynamic live performances.
Italian Radio Society brings together musicians with over 20 years of experience across a wide range of genres. Each member contributes expertise in performance, arrangement, composition, sound engineering, and event production, ensuring every show is crafted with care and creativity.
Highly versatile, the project can perform as a duo or trio, or expand into a 4- to 8-piece ensemble, with the addition of brass or strings. They effortlessly adapt to any space or occasion, from intimate acoustic sets to full-scale concerts. The five-piece formation remains the most popular, offering the perfect balance of energy, quality, and stage presence.
/ The roots
The vision behind Italian Radio Society was born from a deeply personal journey.
Moving to a new Country brought both challenges and nostalgia, inspiring the founder Elisa Cipro to reconnect with her Italian heritage. Amid London’s grey streets, she envisioned a band that could recreate a small piece of Italy bringing the warmth, spirit, and atmosphere of home to audiences around the world.

Elisa Cipro is an Italian vocalist, showgirl and creative director based in London. Italian Radio Society reflects her identity and artistic vision.
With a background in musical theatre, a four-octave vocal range, and over two decades of experience in the live entertainment industry, she has performed in a wide range of settings, from theatres and cabaret productions to international stages across Europe, the Middle East, and the US.
Fluent in Italian, English, and French, her work spans music, film, and live performance. As a recording artist, her original music has featured in film soundtracks, while as a dubbing artist she has contributed to major international productions, including No Time to Die (007) and House of Gucci.
/ achievements
In 2025, they released their first original song, “In questa notte magica,” aired on RAI 2 and RAI Italia. The same year, they placed second at NYCanta in New York and appeared on a Warner Music Italy compilation. The project has received recognition and praise from notable figures in the Italian music scene, including Roby Facchinetti (Pooh), Gaetano Curreri (Stadio), Iva Zanicchi, and journalist Marino Bartoletti, who described the band as “a highly skilled and ambitious group with an exceptional singer”.
